Registered Psychologist $220 (50 mins)
Our Registered Psychologists offer services by phone and telehealth only, with limited spaces and no rebates available. Services provided include Adult ADHD Assessment, Diagnosis, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy treatment plans. This service is open to private paying clients only, as currently, these ADHD support programs are not government-funded. Depending on your provider and your level of cover, you may be able to claim for services through your private health fund.

Provided by Senior Clinical Psychologist & Board Approved Supervisor. Psychology supervision and training services for early-career Provisional Psychologists, Clinical Psychology Registrars and all other Registered Psychologists. GST is claimable under the ATO for Professional Services

Psychology Supervision - Group (Online) $100 per hour (+ GST)
Provided by Senior Clinical Psychologist & Board Approved Supervisor. Group supervision sessions on a range of topics relevant to psychological practice. Suitable for Provisional Psychologists, Clinical Psychology Registrars and Registered Psychologists. This will count as supervision hours towards your internship/registrar requirements. This will also count as CPD for registered psychologists. GST is claimable under the ATO for Professional Services.

Allied Health Supervision - Individual (Online) $200 per hour (+GST)
Provided by a Registered Psychologist, this service includes supervision and training for Allied Health Professionals including Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, NDIS Workers and Disability Services, Community and Aged Care Services Workers, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Alcohol and Other Drug Workers, Private Practice owners (including business consulting), Employee Assistance Program Clinicians. GST is claimable under the ATO for Professional Services.

Neurofeedback - NDIS Core Budget 01 $1500.00 (5 x weeks rental)
For access to Neurofeedback Home Rental System. NDIS Core Budget includes categories of support: Consumables, Daily Activities, Assistance with Social and Community Participation, Transport. Neurofeedback Assistive Technology Rental System services are approved for the purposes of Daily Activities and covers up to $1500 ($300 per week, 5 weeks in duration)

Neurofeedback - NDIS Capital Support Budget $1500+
For access to your own Neurofeedback Assistive Teachnology System. The fund covers Neurofeedback Assistive Technology, however approval is required from teh NDIS in advance of accessing these services for anything over $1500 per annum
Occupational Therapy (OT) Fees

Occupational Therapy (OT) - Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plans (MHTPs), formerly known as Mental Health Care Plans (MHCPs): $150 (50 mins)
Appointments booked through the Health Better Access Initiative are charged at $150 per appointment, with a Medicare rebate of $77.80, so your out-of-pocket for a session is $72.20. Your GP must write a Mental Health Plan and a referral for Focused Psychological Services. You are welcome to attend an appointment without a GP referral; however, in cases where a GP referral is not provided, no Medicare rebate can be made available for this appointment, and the client is charged the total appointment cost of $150.

Occupational Therapy (OT) - Medicare GP Management Plan (GPMP) $150 (50 mins)
Appointments booked through a GP Management Plan are charged at $150 per appointment, with a Medicare Rebate of $55.10 per appointment, so your out-of-pocket will be $94.90 per session. GPs are only permitted to prescribe a maximum of five Allied Health consults per calendar year (total value $275.50 back from Medicare). The General Practitioner determines the eligibility and specific mix of these services, which must be specified in the referral they issue to us.

NDIS Occupational Therapy $193.99 (50 mins)
Occupational therapy services funded through NDIS need to meet certain criteria and generally incur no out-of-pocket costs to the participants. All NDIS clients are serviced and charged according to the NDIS requirements, NDIS service delivery requirements and price guide with standard fees of $193.99 per appointment.

Travel (Perth metro only) $70 (approx)
Should you wish for your session to be conducted in your home or another community location (within 30 km of our Perth Clinic), travel is billed according to the NDIS price guide. Please contact us for an estimate of travel fees, if required.
Private Health Fund
To claim from your Private Health Fund for Psychology or Occupational Therapy, you will need to contact your health fund regarding the amount that you are entitled to claim. The relevant item numbers for Occupational Therapy are:
– 100: Initial Appointment (Intake Assessment)
– 200: Subsequent Appointment
– 300: Group Therapy
If you attend an appointment at our Clinic (Wembley, Perth), we can process your private health through our HICAPS terminal; this needs to occur on the service day. Alternatively, if your appointment is at a remote or off-site location, you can submit your receipt to your health fund for claiming.
Your health fund and your level of cover decide your maximum health refund rebate, and we recommend you check this out with your Fund provider in advance of attendance to avoid disappointment.
Doctor / GP, Psychiatrist, Paediatric and External Specialist Referrals
We welcome GP referrals for clients to attend our Occupational Therapy team who deliver our services for any health and mental health-related issues such asleep-related issues, anxiety and chronic fatigue syndrome wishing to access our blended modality therapeutic approach. GPs may refer clients to us on GP Management Plans, Mental Health Treatment Plans (MHTPs), formerly known as Mental Health Care Plans (MHCPs) and DVA Management Plans and referrals are also accepted via the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Do I need a GP Referral?
While we receive many referrals from Doctors/GPs, Psychiatrists, and Specialist Healthcare Professionals, is it not essential to provide a referral to access services at Brain Training Australia as we are also open to the general public who can just pay as they go, without accessing rebates? No, but you can attend on a GP referral. Many clients attend their Doctor or existing Psychologist in supplementary to the work we do. Our blended modality approacalignsne with Occupational Therapy and Psychological Intervention approaches helps our clients achieve their mental health goals.
Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) access:
We also have many clients who have been able to get the cost of the training partially or fully reimbursed by their employer as part of their Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or Staff Health & Well-being. Please check with your employer if they allow access to these services and if, just complete a contact form on any page of our website to send us a message.
